Three Guys, One Customer—45 Million Transformers Later
In 1981, three softball teammates borrowed $1,300 each from their parents and built transformers in a garage. They delivered on time.
That customer still orders from us today.
Forty-five years and 45 million transformers later, we're still founder-owned, still based in California, and still trying to earn the next order.
What We Do
We design and build custom magnetic components—transformers, inductors, and chokes—for customers who cannot afford failure.
Our work powers Mars rovers, nuclear submarines, Tesla Superchargers, and Ken Fischer’s legendary Trainwreck amplifiers. We serve aerospace, defense, medical devices, EV infrastructure, data centers, industrial equipment, and high-end audio.
We're not the cheapest. We're not the largest. We're the ones you call when the timeline is tight, the specs are critical, and it has to work.
